Chateau Ladausse can offer a private chef for that special meal at your place. Alternatively visit the chateau and enjoy the "open table d' hote" they are planning a regular weekly dining night for this event.

This chateau also runs wine workshops where you can discover more about the wines from Bordeaux, Bergerac and Cahors. There is also the opportunity to have a “wine atelier” ( wine workshop) in your holiday home, this sounds like a great idea.

Gourmet Cooking Holidays

Jane at Gourmet Cooking Holidays offers a one day cooking course. This can be lunch or dinner. For the Lunch experience you arrive at 10 am for a welcome drink and introductions. You will then have the opportunity for learning, watching and cooking as you prepare the meal. Then it’s time to enjoy a leisurely three course lunch, starting with canapes and finishing with coffee. Gourmet Cooking holidays is based in Monflanquin which is about thirty minutes north. At night from “La vue” on the north side of The Farmhouse you can see the lights of this bastide town twinkling against the night sky, it’s not too far away.
